Bacteria are a large group of unicellular microorganisms. They are rarely visible by naked eye, there shapes ranges from spheres to rods and spirals. Once they attack a human body they severely effect the immune system, as we know the immune system is the human body's defense against the deadly diseases.
Bacteria are normally found in almost every habitat, which include the bottom of the deepest ocean, top of the mountains and even in frozen rocks and ice of Antarctica.
Regardless of how neat and clean one keeps his/her house, there are places where bacteria and other microorganisms exist such as, toilet bowls and bathtubs, kitchen drains, Kitchen Sink Basins, Bathroom Sink Basins, Pet Dishes, Kitchen Floors, Computer Keyboard, Remote Control.
Most common factors through which the bacteria spreads, includes through contact, exchange of bodily fluids, through air, improper hygine, etc. are some of the causes for rapid growth of bacteria.
Diseases Caused by Bacteria
Tuberculosis:
Tuberculosis (TB) is triggered by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, a bacterium. It is a worldwide disease. It mainly affects lungs, but can also affect other parts of the body too.
Above mention bacteria reaches from person to person normally through air. Person affected with TB sprays the bacteria when they cough, sneeze, or talk. Nearby people breathe in the bacteria and get infected. Person with TB normally cough's up blood, cough's excessively, looses weight, suffers chest pain.
Cholera:
Vibrato Cholera Bacteria, is responsible for the spread of cholera. It is another fatal disease that causes a persons blood pressure to a state known as 'Hypotension', i.e., Low Blood Pressure.
The above mantioned bacteria contaminates food stuffs and water. It is a diarrheal illness caused due to deficiency of hydrochloric acid, undercooked food, etc.The disease can spread rapidly in areas with inadequate treatment of sewage and drinking water.
Pertussis:
Bordetella pertussis, a bacterium causes pertussis. It is also known as 'whooping cough'. This bacteria persist in the mouth, nose, and throat of an infected person. People get pertussis after breathing in droplets expelled from nose and cough of an infected person.
Infants are at more risk in this case. People who have or may have pertussis should stay away from infants and young children till they are properly treated. Symptoms normally appears after a few days, which includes runny nose, sneezing and a low grade fever which further increases to uncontrolled coughs.
Bubonic Plague:
It is caused by a bacterium called Yersinia pestis. The disease is normally carried by rodents and fleas. It is one of the infectious desease, with death usually occuring in less than three days if proper care is not taken.
Common symptoms include fever, shivering, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, swelling of lymph nodes, internal bleeding, turn black alos known as ' BLACK DEATH '.
